This information relates to one of the Lancashire trees - the descendants of Christopher ALSTEAD and Mary MARSDEN.
Following a recent enquiry from the Rev David Halstead whose ancestors were John HALSTEAD b1814 and Alice BEARDSWORTH b1820 means that this tree has been checked and been extensively revised. This chart is not helped by the constant changing of names from HALSTEAD to ALSTEAD, ALSTON and even in the case of David's ancestors in 1851 of AUSTIN. We have been able to take the data a further two generations.

ReplyDeleteJust spotted your comment about John Halstead and Alice Beardsworth and the consequential 'revisions'. Do the revisions appear in Lancashire chart 9? The only one I can access seems not to have been changed. Perhaps I am not using your system properly or you have not got round to it yet! David Halstead
